The Opening Of Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park was commissioned in 1955 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the province of Alberta. However, long before Jubilee Park was formalized; it was often used as a recreation area during the winter months for skiing, sledding, and tobogganing, as well as for hiking and picnics during the summer. The Stoney Creek Valley (now Camrose Creek) has always provided a scenic and tranquil connection to nature.
