Police responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 21. Police located the vehicle which was towed due to expired Insurance.
A 30 year old Bawlf male was arrested and is facing a number of charges including Operating a Motor Vehicle while being Pursued by Police, Dangerous Driving, Failing to Comply with Court Conditions, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Operating an Unregistered Vehicle.
Police received a report of thefts from mailboxes along Highway 26.
A dash cam, keys, money and other miscellaneous items were stolen from a vehicle in New Norway. Police remind residents to be diligent about locking your vehicles to prevent thefts in your neighbourhood.
A mailbox was broken into approximately a year ago. A UFA fuel card was since obtained in the victim's name. Over $35,000 of fuel has been purchased using the fraudulent credit card. This is currently under investigation.
Camrose RCMP has been receiving numerous complaints of telephone scams. Targeting seniors, unknown person(s) are calling and claiming to be with Revenue Canada, the RCMP and many other associations in an attempt to obtain money. Please be aware. Do not send money or provide any banking information to them. There is no need to report these phone calls unless you have already provided your credit card information or if you are missing money.

A 28 year old male was convicted of Break & Enter with Intent and Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000. He served presentence custody of 6 months and a surcharge or $200 for each charge.
A 40 year old woman was convicted of Assault with a Weapon. She received a Suspended Sentence and 12 months Probation.
A youth was charged with sex assault. He was convicted and received a 6 month Conditional Sentence Order, Deferred Custody for 18 months and a 2 year Firearms Prohibition.
