A trailer was stolen from a work site south of Camrose with over $20,000 worth of tools inside. A company employee found the trailer abandoned a short distance away. Discovered the trailer hitch lock had been broken off and the trailer undamaged.
Police received a report of a break and enter to a Telus Mobility Site. This is currently under investigation.
A white Ford truck with 2 occupants was found on a rural property stealing diesel fuel. The suspects left the property northbound.
A white Ford truck was reported swerving and driving erratically. Police located the vehicle near Highway 617 / Highway 833 parked with the driver slumped over the steering wheel. Checks revealed the truck was stolen from Stony Plain and numerous stolen items and break-in tools were located inside the vehicle. The 32-year-old vehicle driver was taken into custody and is facing a number of charges.
A homeowner attended the Camrose Detachment to report a break & enter to his house and shop. Multiple items were reported stolen including tools, a TV and gaming system. This is being investigated.
Police responded the report of a vehicle on fire on Highway 834. The vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Edmonton. This is currently under investigation.
Camrose RCMP has been receiving numerous complaints of telephone scams. Targeting seniors, unknown person(s) are calling and claiming to be with Revenue Canada, the RCMP and many other associations in an attempt to obtain money. Please be aware. Do not send money or provide any banking information to them. There is no need to report these phone calls unless you have already provided your credit card information or if you are missing money.
