Camrose RCMP Report

 December 3

A break and enter was reported at the UFA warehouse in Bawlf sometime throughout the night. 

Police received numerous reports of mischief in the Round Hill area. This is currently under investigation. 

December 5

A number of vehicles were entered and damaged in Bawlf. 

Camrose RCMP has been receiving complaints of telephone scams. Targeting seniors, unknown person(s) are calling and claiming to be with Revenue Canada, the RCMP and many other associations in an attempt to obtain money.  Please be aware. Do not send money, do not purchase iTunes gift cards or the like, or provide any banking information to them. There is no need to report these phone calls unless you have already provided your credit card information or if you are missing money.

THIS WEEK IN COURT:

A Young Offender was charged with Sex Assault. He received a 5 year Firearms Prohibition, 100 days secure custody, 50 open custody followed by 18 months Probation. 

An adult male was charged with domestic assault. He received a 12 month Peace Bond.

An adult male was charged with Assault. He received a suspended sentence with 1 year probation. He also received 5 year Firearms prohibition.
